The coach at Love Counselling

You’re Not Broken. But you may be bruised.

If you’re here, you’re likely looking for relationship counselling. Something in your relationship life probably hurts. Maybe you’ve been overlooked, dismissed, gaslit, betrayed. Maybe you’ve twisted yourself into someone you barely recognise just to keep the peace. And maybe you’re quietly wondering: “What if I’m the problem?”

You’re not. You’re someone who’s been trying to love, survive, and stay connected in a world that hasn’t always honoured your needs. You’re allowed to want more.

I help people recover from toxic, confusing, or unfulfilling relationships

I’m Ash Rehn, a registered mental health social worker, counsellor, and coach with over two decades of experience supporting people in reclaiming their sense of self, dignity and choice.
My work is grounded in narrative and dialogical practices. That means I don’t see you as broken, or reduce your experience to a diagnosis. Instead, I help you change your relationship to the problem, reflect on its effects, and rediscover your agency in the face of fear, shame, anxiety or control.
If you’ve lost your voice or sense of self in a relationship, we can work together to gently recover your clarity and power.

Inclusive, affirming, and collaborative relationship counselling

I work with people of all genders and sexualities. Many of my clients identify as LGBTQ+ or have experienced relationship structures and life paths that don’t fit mainstream expectations. This is a space where your story matters — without judgment, moralising, or “tough love.”
I offer:
> Emotional support for people leaving or healing from toxic, coercive or manipulative relationships
> Help navigating anxiety, grief, self-doubt, and relational trauma
> Affirming space for those exploring identity, boundaries, and self-worth

Online since 2009 — worldwide support

You don’t need to be in a major city or wait months to find a good therapist. I’ve worked with clients online since 2009 — long before the pandemic. Whether you’re in Sydney or Stockholm, Melbourne or Manila, if you have a good internet connection and a willingness to show up for yourself, we can begin.

Sessions are held over MS Teams or in person in Australia.

This work is about remembering who you are

You might have forgotten your worth. You may have been made to question your value. Together, we can find the story behind the pain — and gently, intentionally, begin writing something new.
You don’t have to do this alone.
